The Chorus Chronicles

The Repertory Singers are an audition community choir led by their beloved music director, Dr. Armand Tilton. The Chorus Chronicles charts the group’s thirty-fourth season, from the pre-rehearsal fall retreat through the spring concerts, recounting adventures both musical and personal that range from dispiriting to terrifying to uplifting. Along the way, entrenched factions, fraying loyalties, and bruised egos threaten to undermine the singers’ shared love of choral music and one another. Plus: An interlude with a symphony chorus in which an eager new tenor makes a name for himself in all the wrong ways.
